Five companies have won spectrum in the Australian Communications and Media Authority’s latest spectrum auction in the 26 GHz band. The 26 GHz band has been identified as optimal for the delivery of 5G wireless broadband services.
Indeed, mmWave 5G is the version of 5G that can really deliver ultra fast speeds, with Verizon the US able to offer an app with five live streams of the same football match at different angles, so people at home, or in the stadiums, or anywhere they get 5G mmWave connectivity, can enjoy true digital multimedia.
Over 300 lots will be offered on the day.
A new machinery clearance auction is set to take place this Saturday 24 April just outside Fermoy at the Corrin Event Centre.
The auction is being organised by Cork Marts. The firm organised the auction as they claim that feedback has suggested that there is an opportunity for a machinery auction of this type in Munster.
